….this was my halloween costume a few years back when I was in college. I was to be a member of the blue man group (unfortunately my glasses didn’t let me pull it off.)
This year I was too lazy/broke to even have a costume. I kinda regret it almost seeing everyone out in Manhattan dressed up.
Halloween in NYC on a Saturday Night is Halloween cranked up to 11.
Of course I saw a lot of cute kids with parents dressed up as wild things, girls slutted up, a ghostbuster, meg griffin, and also a SHITLOAD of Waldos that you can confuse for hipsters. It was pretty fascinating to see people of all walks of life dress up for one night.
Despite that I didn’t dress up I was able to see two great shows (Tegan and Sara, Allison Weiss) in the same day.
Now I will see if I can try to sleep easily…
