Yes, We are polishing our Silver Medal. I’m not mad. I’m happy that this was a hell of an olympics. Even though my team didn’t win, I am very proud to be an American Hockey fan. Of course hockey in this country will be again relegated to only 2 minutes on SportsCenter. It will be again made fun of or not even acknowledged all by dickheads such as Tony Kornhieser and Mike Franessca. Again I will have to fight over the TV at my work’s break room over some boring NBA game or being looked at weirdly for not worshiping Lebron or Kobe. I can at least live with the fact that for two weeks people in this country gave a flying fuck about my favourite sport. If it brings a few fans who are genuinely interested in the game itself and not on superstars. I am all for it. I’m pretty content with hockey being relegated as the “fourth” sport in the USA. Besides the Pens and Caps do not need any more dumbasses on their bandwagon. (No offense to ACTUAL and TRUE fans of those teams of course)
