People on Tumblr: STOP changing your names so frequently!
Seriously, I don’t know who the hell i’m following if your names are frequently changing! Its FINE to rename your self once to reinvent yourself. but CONSTANTLY renaming yourself just makes things confusing.
If you are renaming yourself to get away from someone or some entity, its not going to work. Tumblr is NOT private at all. The only SURE fire way to make sure that no knows who you are online is to completely remove your image or an association of your previous identity entirely.
If I change my own identity online (I REFUSE to use the word “Brand” since you aren’t making money) , it is something I don’t take lightly. If you see, almost everywhere that I hangout online it is under the name justinleon or some variation. If someone managed to take my name then I use itsjustinleon or justinleonftw. I try to maintain consistency.
Last time when I changed from a previous name to this one, it was a total pain in the ass to notify all of my online friends about the change. As I said, doing it once is ok, but multiple times is really fucking annoying.
I still love you all but I’m just sayin’ what needs to be said.
